Sustainability

I aspire every day to be more sustainable. My constant research and development brings me closer every day, and I am definitely proud of how far I’ve come, and the rapid pace in which I am reaching my goal. Read my current status and aspirations here.

Inclusivity

All of my apparel pieces are produced in small batches, and with my stockists orders and size runs in mind. I have a made-to-order business where I make my pieces based on custom measurements.

Design

Every Sarah Donofrio piece is an original illustration, print and work of art from my mind and my world, and by investing in my prints and pieces, you are also investing in the future of original design. Woman owned and women run.

Production

All samples and small batch units are made on the West Coast US by the designer, and a small team of women who are paid so that both them and the designer can financially thrive.

Pricing

My staff is paid well above market standard, and, my prices, though needing to reflect that, are set at a place where my customers and brands admirers can afford lasting pieces.

Fabrics

Our silks are made in China and sent to our printer in NYC. We buy in small quantities, to ensure as little waste as possible. Our embroidered pieces are all deadstock fabrics and we use eco friendly thread. I am striving to one day have all fabric made state side.
